I agree the west needs more time to build up deterrence. Lots of time wasted since Romulus & Remus (just ask Remus!), the Etruscans frittered it away before that, probably fishing and scratching rocks. Someone needs to get it together, say goodnight to Josephine, perhaps gain control of most of Europe and form a united front.
