MAIDEN CONTINGENT RESOURCE ESTIMATE FOR AUSTIN CHALK FORMATION
One point from the announcement
Independent consultants Netherland Sewell and Associates, Inc (NSAI) have assigned net 2C and 3C
estimates for the Austin Chalk of 2.130 and 4.276 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe)
respectively.
I reckon this is the reason that AUT moved so quickly to try to buy us out.
No sentiment as I own both AUT and EKA. Not sure how I want this to play out as yet. Obviously don't want EKA brought out cheaply, but also don't want AUT to pay to much. Plus I have CGT to consider (EKA less than a year)
