I was just looking at Austin engineering. I don't want to be the one to talk about the elephant in the room, but in this case. LOOK AN ELEPHANT!!!
If bradken's order book is looking great (up 16% a month or so ago) and their profit may be down a bit (my expectation, based on mining service sector in the last 12 months). What happens when the profit they make get brought down because of further write offs in Austin?
According to yahoo Austin's sp was up around the 62c mark, where it currently sits just on 10c. 84% down.
My question is, do they sit on it, realise the loss (write down, again) or sell it up?(again write down)
I don't know a huge amount about Austin, is it salvageable?
Any insight greatly appreciated.
I'm off to research Austin.
