I'd say that the BoD knew the pinging by AUSTAC was in the pipeline (well) before the SPP was announced. The BoD merely wanted to have the Shareholder's pick up the tab for the pending fine(s). Hence, what was perceived as a great priced SPP at the time of the Announcement. Interesting, it may just "fail" ... No SPP for me !
