Yeah, I am not so sure as a shareholder, I have benefited from these transactions. Anyone would think Westpac charged a premium for overseas transfers. It was just procedural matters were not followed correctly. The 23 million transactions were not all dodgy but were transacted during a period of procedural inadequacy. Its a load if innuendo and exaggeration, but no doubt with the metoo movement and PC correctness, shareholders will be made to pay. I just hope someone in the company has the balls and intelligence to fight the claims sucsessfully.
