The Chile parliament has proposed a new tax on copper to raise revenue opposed by the government. It would not apply to gold and AGD, but I wonder if it has had an adverse impact even so. There is also a potential strike at the BHP Escondida copper mine. Neither is directly relevant to us but maybe "unrest" in Chile explains recent AGD share price weakness.
