Folks, this is Gobbo's idea of a shining star:-

Hmmm, Gobster. Not exactly a supernova, is it? More like a brown dwarf, I'd say.

And still, management says nothing. Some public company this is! They've said nothing whatsoever about their situation since July. Maybe someone should send them a dictionary, with the words, "continuous" and "disclosure" highlighted. Because, they don't seem to understand what it means.

Given that this company was a BIG user of the US commercial paper market (relative to their market cap), you'd have thunk that the market might be interested in how they're funding their deals, these days.

Nope! You shareholders are unimportant to us. We'll spring our surprises on you once every six months...if you're lucky! Fair dinkum, a Trappist Monk is more communicative than these guys!

I'm sorry, but companies which borrow short in the US commercial paper market and remain silent throughout the complete shutdown of that market may be surviving OK, but they'd make me soooo nervous about the state of my investment that I'd never trust them. What if they were actually going broke? Would you ever know? What do you do with a company which only ever discloses the bare minimum they are legally obliged to?

Where is their, "The markets have tanked, but we're OK."?

    Tick, tick, tick, Gobbo!
