The Australasian Life Science Investment Summit 2012, is again a major satellite event connected to Australia’s pre-eminent biotechnology industry conference, AusBiotech 2012, and will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on Friday 2 November 2012.
Last year's summit attracted over 120 investors from around the world to showcase the 40 most promising Australian biotechnology companies actively seeking capital or partnering opportunities.
The audience featured an excellent mix of expertise from national and international investors, including angel investors, venture capitalists, fund managers, investment bankers and representatives from superannuation funds. The audience also included venture capital arms of the major pharmaceutical companies from Australia, Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
Presenting companies will be a mix of listed companies in late-stage development, private companies with identified product/opportunities and early-stage commercialisation companies from research institutes and universities.
