Young family member recently in Florence in peak summer - streets there now crammed with illegal asylum seekers (Middle Eastern, African) -and their hastily rigged little street stalls selling crummy junk - everywhere - stuffing the streets, made them unattactive, and almost impassable for pedestrain traffic around major sites. The Carbinieri turn up, and these temporary tents/junk stall occupants panic, pack up fast, and make a fast run for it.
He said streets for tourists now a nightmare at peak tourist period - crammed with all this flotsam and jetsam junky clobber and flimsy stalls of junk. No appeal any more to attract anyone back there. This "kid" very well mannered, tolerant, and unselfish, a tradie apprentice - no snob - half European himself - but said he's never seen chaos like it, and far from ENJOYING the sights of Florence, says it was such a junky mess he's not really interested in ever re-visiting.
He and his travel mates found much of the rest of Europe now in similar state, (e.g. Scandinavia now also becoming resentful, thoug previously tolerant) - with various local populaces now becoming more and more enraged and resentful at these floods of illegals taking over, many of their own families needy, and in need of welfare cover.
Some major suburban streets in Paris now having to be avoided traffic wise - totally taken over - by these masses, many illegals. And overflows, each Friday, from Muslim prayers in various mosques. French now very much up in arms and angry! London - and many major english midland towns - the same.
He and his mates glared at - in Paris, trying to get down those now blocked off streets, for, apparently, "intruding". This resentment, now, amongst Europeans is growing like wildfire. They are worried about how their own are to survive. They don't need all these extra social pressures - and can't afford them. Time the Islamist world looked after its own! Took these people in.
We, what, New York Times, open our borders - no question asked, of so-called "immigrants" - or the people smuggling pirate chums) - to show, what, our "compassion" - (or total stupidity?) We? With around 24 millions - and in flood what - 50 million or so - (And that'd be just for starters!) - all claiming that they are impoverished "refugees"? Many outright liars? Just don't haven't to have any personal papers? Open slather? Our grandkids and great grand kids become, what - forced converts to Islam? AT pain of death? Thinking of the future our kids and their kids face - makes me extrenely nervous.
Hope eventually dies out - under such murderous, hate filled, radical regimes. If tey exist forever, unchallenged. ISIS doing what it's doing - and what - New York Times sits around , and instead, has the total NERVE to accuse US - this proud country - their so-called friend - of gross "wrongdoing?"
