    The "wrong" predictions include quite a few taken out of context and others where the time for the change to take place has not passed. Instead of blindly swallowing denier rants, I suggest actually looking at Prof. Flannery's predictions in context.

    As for his waterfront home, you need to consider a couple of things. Firstly predicted sea level rises are in the order of a metre in one hundred years. I live on a waterfront home and from where I sit now, The water is 12 vertical metres below me. You will find Prof. Flannery's property is also well above sea level. His place has the added advantage I believe, of being on Hawkesbury Sandstone, giving it additional stability against erosion.

    I have no idea about the location of Al Gore's waterfront property. Al Gore isn't a scientist but a wealthy business person/politician. He can probably afford it. Good luck to him.
