Personally, i think the Aussie government is doing damage to Australia in a much larger way.

The current and past ruling governments lied pre-election.

And this ruling government has not only scooped up the wealthy non-environmental, pro-capitalist voters and nursed them but they have also begun to ruin aspects of what Australia is and what it is made of, industry by industry, culture by culture, landscape by landscape.
That's about all Australia is and we rely on these like the Dutch relied on Poppies.
Our attractiveness is in Tourism, our landscape and
peoples love for it creates the industry.
The culture is born right there.

To elaborate would mean a 20 page report so that's my reasoning and there are numerous supporting examples to go by.

THAT is a bigger problem in my opinion and in the context of Australia as a whole it makes some gripes present as complaints about kids kicking cans on Sunday morning.
