Australia ‘can afford’ nuclear power
Coalition for Conservation CEO Cristina Talacko says Australiacan afford nuclear energy.
“Ibelieve we can do it in a timely manner,” Ms Talacko told Sky News host ChrisKenny.
Shesaid the UAE has proven when there’s will, “they can do things fast”.
“Ithink that there’s plenty of evidence to show that long term … the cost ofnuclear will be reduced.
“Especially because ofthe longevity of nuclear power plants.”
