Hi Fishy
BUT as can be seen with the southern border issue in the USA, when a politician or a party does not want to abide by the rules there is no clear cut remedy, as the people still do not have a say
Representative Democracy has the big failure of having no one to enforce the law, when we had an operational GG we did have a safeguard but that post has now been made impotent
The people should be the safeguard but politicians remove all of our powers bit by bit and say, you have the general election, but then we get to vote for one crook or another crook so it is still not power to change or rectify
Even the Covid mandate in the USA went against the law but no one had the power or will to stop it
The politicians have also corrupted the Supreme Court system so they to follow political lines much of the time
All agreements are only a written contract and unless there are clauses which can be enforced by the parties (IE the people) it is just a bit of paper with good intentions
