IMHO if the capitalist system breaks down which it has done previously it can and will reform and rebuild
If we are firmly in the grip of communism there is no way out except by a bloody battle
Communism is a system that can only be of benefit when 100% of the people have nothing so they work together to benefit each other, look at China which is disintegrating bit by bit as it is ruled by a dictator

As to ownership by the state, you have obviously never operated a business with it's mind bending rules and red tape which is equivalent to state control
