Hi Sid Communism --- operationally yes Going deeper, politics has long since left Australia The Australian Liberal party is so far left that the Labor parties of 60 years ago would think they were a HARD left party None of the so called political parties follow any conservative or worker based ideology The Labor left are a dictatorship which panders to the communist ideals and the Liberals are the same except their heroes are the foreign money hungry cooperate giants Australia has many problems and there is no white knight on the horizon As to Communism, the definition is difficult but in Qld we have a government which without asking the people or even telling most of the people the details, have embarked on a stupendous campaign which they say is about Carbon Neutral, but in fact there is not one single bit of evidence to support the scores of big batteries ($60 million each) being purchased, the pumped hydro s being built, solar farms of thousands of acres and not to mention wind farms on every hill top, and also hundreds of k/ms of transmissions cables and towers to support them So billions of dollars spent without consultation with money that has to be borrowed and no evidence that there will be a worthwhile return for the people who have to foot the bill Is this not akin to communism ???

aus has no connection with communism. where is the centralised collectivisation and distribution to stores in an irregular and chaotic manner? where is the equalisation of all rates of pay? where is the wealth redistribution and equity for all? we are a capitalist nation, no doubt, as we engage in capitalist practices moderated by sensible social values ala Menzies.
