Whether or not the fearless leader of this country let's boat people in or not will not make on bit of difference to me and the way I live my life. Not one bit will I notice it. Not one bit. And I doubt that it would change the lives of anyone who has voiced an opinion against allowing in boat people on this forum. Sure, those people will get worked up and yell and scream and carry on, but that is the only difference. The difference arises in the mind, no where else.

Financially or materially, no difference. Financially and materially, the same. In the mind, difference.

"Boat people" is one of these insignificant issues the government throw at us to get us all worked up to make them look like they are doing something useful, which most of the time they are not. Boat people (and most stuff I hear politicians talk about) simply does not matter to me.

What does matter to me is that my mind is at peace each moment. Now that is worth something to me.
