May not make any difference to all but..

Does make a difference to many though. Some suburbs undergo massive cultural and socio-economic change due to immigration. There are pockets of cultural genocide that occurs very quickly and the fact refugees do not pass skill tests they are more likley to from dysfunctional enclaves.

So yes for many will not make a difference and it is easy to be judgemental when it is not in your backyard but very shallow and so very anti-working class.

Makes for cheap or even exploitable workforce that suits the rich in unaffected suburbs so they wil moralise with glee but the reality for many is essentially cultural genocide.

Australia has the highest percentage of migration and to retain that level of tolerance some sense of control needs to be felt by the public. Breech of borders sends a message that control is weakening.

So no side is right or better than the other. People that place the race card or superior card get no respect from me. Simply remind be of imperialistic missionary types.

The Vietnamese had serious issues and when the public demanded action the newly appointed PC brigade came out playing the race card but the Vietnamese community rejected it as they wanted the particular concerns addressed. It worked and now one never hears of the problems like once we did. So is essentially an argument that the ignorant adopt.
