If this has been so clearly brewing for 20 years as you say, and the farmers would have stowed away lots of cashola to make their escape to greener pastures, then why are they apparently allowing themselves to be slaughtered ? Why not take their pile of money and get their families out of there? Why didn't they do it 5 years ago when they could have sold their land? If it doesn't make sense then there's a fair chance it isn't quite true?
