    you don't get it do you? The issue is celebrating australia day which is a day directly connected with the landing/invasion, the date is irrelevant.

    The date and historical event is what needs to change away from the landing/invasion, as that event is the issue.

    Johns suggestion of Jan 1 would be far more palatable, or July 9th when it was seen as the birth of our nation and the signing of our constitution by Queen Victoria.

    Why the yobbo's cling to the 26th like scared little limpets is very naive and dumb, and I'm sure they would have zero clue why they do.
