    Back in the 70's and 80's we didn't really Cate about Australia day. It was just a long weekend near the end on January and the cricket was on in Adelaide. There were some free concerts on and plenty of booze was drunk. Really don't remember too many people waving flags around.
    Misses asked me yesterday if I cared if we changed it, I responded no but I have a concern that 26/1 could be adopted as invasion day.

    This really isn't a big deal let's just become a republic and get a new Australia Day that means something.
