Jessie1, as a traveller I've long subscribed to 'Smartraveller'; it's a great service!

Not for one moment have I denied that throughout the World there are security/safety issues.

That also applies here in Australia and as I noted earlier; my wife and I feel most threatened by druggies, drunks and road-ragers. We do not frequent night clubs but note that many of these often make the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
