With all the clowns we have masquerading as representatives of the people in Canberra and state parliaments, along with their treachery against the good of this country vis a vis immigration, fiscal irresponsiblibiy, power generation, law and order for example, Australia is not deserving of a republic. That would be just another mess sending us down the tube.
Focus on working for the people rather than personal egos and notching and blotching policy change. They will only deliver a banana republic.
