The people they mix with are the rich socialists who can demand insane changes like taxing carbon, tax mining, promise computers, promise Gondski and NDIS because to them the cost is little. These people are the feelgooders who are not really workers just lefties who never grew up.
As long as the labor party never changes we will get another round of mad ideas when they come to power.
In the end they are separated from the people they pretend to represent because they never meet them.
