Car manufacturers send the cars that people want to buy, suggesting this won't create penalties is either entirely dishonest or just plain dopey. Look through the current cars offered for sale and they're mostly SUVs or utes, there's quite a limited range of sedans or even hatchbacks .... because that's what the market here wants.
