The Australian psyche is not ready for it. This is the biggest election loser I've seen in a while if they run with it. I'm getting out the Sportsbet for the next election...
If research on the financials are accurate as well (let's assume they are for a second), it seems to make absolutely no sense for us as a nation. I'd guess because we're smaller and more spread out, having large amounts of power generated in one place probably makes way less sense than wind / solar dotted around the joint? Enough other countries where it does make more sense can enjoy our U308!
