To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. I spend a reasonable amount of time there and researched (previously) that LNG accounts for approx 60% of energy needs (for electricity). Then, from memory, lignite accounts for approx 20% then hydro makes a contribution. Most of the hydro is imported from Laos. There is no solar (to speak of) and wind turbines are somewhat forlorn most of the times (I've only seen two sites). Irrespectively, Thailand is emerging as a considerable manufacturer so it needs reliable and cheap electicity. GLTAH Keith
