Ace13, I think we are more likely to have a digital attack more than a physical one.
These renewal generating farms need a heap of computer control and the entire grid needs more digital interconnection to manage the instability introduced by renewables.
If they can attack part of the power grid digital system it could cause a blackout as bad as a physical attack on the infrastructure.
