Just listening to Dutton. I don't normally agree with much he says but he points out the following;
- 19 advanced countries have embraced Nuclear Power. How can they find it economical and CSIRO and blackout Bowen claim it cannot be so? Put nuclear to the free market and just watch it suddenly become viable!
- If the nuclear power stations are situated at retiring coal power stations, then the wires and switchgear is already there.
- the renewables / net zero hysteria effectively ignores the costs of wires and switchgear and also standby gas power and/or battery smoothing.
The actual fact is the taxpayers have to bear the hidden renewables cost of wires / switchgear / standby gas / batteries while millionaires like Turnbill, Brookes-cannon and Twiggy Forest make a fortune from their subsidised green renewable projects.
It is a grotesque parody of poor taxpayers being robbed to make the green barons richer.
The very antithesis of australian fair go, and a demented back-to-from new type of labor/leftist socialism.
