The issue for Nuclear Energy in Australia is the disconnect between what Australian Investors want and what Australian Consumers need. Nuclear has to be in the Australian Energy Mix pure & simple whether that’s 20, 25, 30 or 35% is irrelevant right now, let’s just get it in the mix to ultimately bring the price down. This is where Govt comes to play, if we spent $20B on building our first reactor instead of Snowy Hydro 2.O that still stuck with Florence we would be half way through the build right now. Thirty-three other Countries are demonstrating this successful carbon-free energy mix in real time.
