Agreed — this was a travesty of an interview, and a disgrace for the national broadcaster. Ferguson should be sacked, or at least suspended, by the ABC, but of course she won’t be. Hopefully the new chair of the ABC (Kim Williams, successor to the weak, spineless Ita Buttrose) will watch this interview and make very clear to Anderson (the CEO), Ferguson and all ABC staff that this is simply not acceptable, and that strong disciplinary action will be taken if there’s any repeat. I think and hope that Williams might have the balls to do this (but then again, I had high hopes for Buttrose when she was first appointed).
