Do any of the people that voted No, know what they voted for? I doubt it.
I think the No vote is just No. No thought for Australia's indigenous people. Just No. No thought for good will towards there fellow Australians and the first Australians. Just No. No genuine self reflection. Just No for the sake of No, displaying a lack of wisdom.
I feel sorry for Australia at this time. There are a great many people of good will in Australia but there is a serious level of mean spirited racism, and that to me is a real worry.
I grew up believing I lived in a easy going free spirited country. I was probably naive, only seeing the good in people and did not see the level of ignorance and racism that is so prevalent. It bothers me.
