Backwards or simply changing rapidly?
And maybe not all changes are good?
An example being globalisation ... hailed 2 decades ago for the access to cheap imported goods and high company profits due to accessing cheaper off shore labour ... but now clearly associated with lost national productive capacity and jobs etc (doh, that was always going to happen).
Wouldn't lost jobs, changing jobs, insecure jobs, increasing permanent part time and casual jobs be associated with reduction in happiness and wellbeing and self esteem?
So thats increasingly rapid change and considering that some changes aint so good ... is that backwards? ... or is it going forwards too quickly to consider and avoid unintended consequences?
