Bob Carr hasn't been anti-Israel strong enough and I did read his book years ago where he talks about Gillard acting as if she had been a slave (my term, not his from the book) to the likes of Leibler. Absolutely everything no matter how small and trivial that was pertaining to Israel and Jews HAD to be first submitted to her for her approval or rufusal - that was her request / order according to Carr. Gillard said she did not want to offend 'our Jewish leaders' or something to that effect. What a disgrace she was...Abhorrent behaviour on her part as PM of Australia, imo.
