Don't worry mate, Labor will answer your dreams since they want to tax property and introduce death duties along with the greens. They will have a clause in parliament that excludes politicians form the same laws of course. I think it was Labor who bought in the property taxes on the second property anyway.
I recently read that they were looking at increasing property taxes to feed their endless inability to manage anything.
Reckon they might introduce an exit tax on property. That will be a bigger chew for them when you sell the house. Probably a sliding scale as it is for stamp duty at the moment.
The two big areas for these guys to have a go at are property and super.
Labor have already outlined several new taxes as their only policy platform. The rest of them (like immigration) they hide from the public.
