I am in my late 50's , i come from an age when to use a knife was unthinkable cowardliness ,when a 'fight' meant only 2 facing each other and when one went down , that was it , over red rover ,no kicks to the head by gutless masses of filth.

It's getting worse at a rapid rate.

The University of Sydney is ratcheting up security at its western Sydney campus after a PhD student was stabbed and robbed as she walked home last night.

The 33-year-old WOMAN was walking past the University of Sydney's Cumberland campus and Lidcombe TAFE college on East Street at Lidcombe about 8pm when a man attacked her from behind with a knife, police said.
He stabbed the woman a number of times in her upper body before stealing her belongings and running away, Flemington Local Area Command duty officer, Matt Walker, said.




Initiation into some gangs require a wannabe to render someone , anyone , unconsciousness . Thus the randomness of the assaults --its doesn't matter who, and the gutlessness of the assault, as it is always from behind/side without the random victim even knowing the 'wannabe' is there.
