i agree with you

but one must consider in what ways the culture or cultures of the population in general inflicts needless suffering upon other beings, human or non humam.
we are creatures of habit - the consistancy of the asscociated mindset affects every aspect of our lives.
i am not surprised at what is happening
most things can be seen in terms of reaping what has being sowed.
we need to carefully consider if we are individually contributing to this problem.
that is is where the gradual solution lies.
