What i'd like to know,to get to some understanding of this issue, and just about everyone here is in a position to answer this, but may choose not,is what do people get out of viewing violence...that is, is it entertainment,is it fun,do you get a good feeling when you see in graphic detail someones head explode on screen,....

Do you enjoy, watching someone get absolutely smashed up.
I'm 49, and i have no idea why some call that entertainment.
I've seen plenty of it,over the years, and i hate, and i get pi$$ed off with myself when i do watch it.....

But it's a business, the business of violence, like the business of alcohol, and the business of casinos....

Seems like we're just addicted, there are some who need their fill of violence to view, but abhor reading about what's happening in real life, and there are those who refuse to watch someone, albeit an actor get slaughtered.

I think humans know the answer...i think we know the answer to most of our problems, but we're too damned lazy and frightened to do something about it.
