Allowing Chinese investment in farming isn't such a bad idea(as much as I hate to agree with anyone from the ALP). They can't move the land, provided there are proper regulations around how they are allowed to run the farms like employing locals and ensuring Australian food supply over Chinese, I don't see much downside?
