Not as often as replacing your $60k ICE vehicle so $25k for panels & batteries is huge saving for approx 25 years.
Cost and emissions is lower because they don't have to be mined.
What does it cost to build fossil plants and operate, consume and decommission.
The oldest nuke plant in switzerland is 48 years old, so cut the bs about 100 years. They have to be refurbished after 35 years at $$$BILLIONS.
