The French President has decisively called on the Australian Government and Australian leaders to ‘lift the ban’ on nuclear energy. Last week Federal Energy Minister Chris Bowen described nuclear in Australia as a ‘a fantasy wrapped in a delusion’. This statement puts the French President at odds with the Australian Government’s energy policy and refusal to lift the ban on nuclear energy.
