We should offer asylum to Asia Bibi as well.
The young woman in Thailand has renounced islam. That's a capital offence. No doubt a fatwa will be issued by some lunatic Imam to kill her. That in itself attests to her plight. There's no going back, no reconciliation with her family. She will need protection and a new identity wherever she goes. Renouncing the cancerous sect of islam is like trying to resign from the Cosa Nostra- it doesn't happen.
We should support and encourage anyone to leave a dangerous sect like that.
