    That is just official Chinese govt propaganda.

    And why colonise their land and take over their resources?

    Each people has an inalienable right to make progress at its own rate (according to the United Nations charter), and who is to say that they would not have changed for the better anyway in the 60 years since the Chinese invaded their land without the invasion? After all most other nations have made massive progress since 1950 and the Tibetans did not need to be invaded to make economic progress.

    If the Chinese wanted to advance the Tibetans then they could have send them aid rather than bullets and bombs.

    Open your eyes, or do you have some vested interest in constantly defending poor Chinese behaviour?
