Our system as it is, demands that we have a strong opposition party, otherwise the whole system fails

But I have never seen how the Labor party could realistically be anything more than a lobby group

All politcal donations should be banned.

There is a case to be said that the formulae of every party should be laid in stone and the missions statement should be the only variance

Politicians should all have the same work contract with the same work ethic and responsibilities, because after all the government is just the countries management team, their job is to translate the people wishes and the needs of the country into the most effective operation

If you can get past the thick skins of some supporters I find that most of the time they want the same thing as I do but just put a different emphasis on how to do it
