Australia needs to reset

Revelations that no police officer has been found guilty of a criminal offence following 434 Aboriginal deaths in custody since the 1991 Royal Commission is evidence that Australia's policing and judicial systems do not reflect our core values - a fair go and equal opportunity for all.

Given the complete failure of Australian politicians to resolve this matter throughout the thirty years since the RC the time has come for us to reset.

All judges should be sequentially suspended and required to apply for re-appointment to a new publicly nominated and ELECTED panel of experts who have nothing whatsoever to do with the judiciary itself ... we cannot let judges self-regulate any longer, the situation is equivalent to that with priests in the Catholic Church.

Clearly, Australia needs a new Constitution that ends Colonial Era institutions and delivers power to the people instead of to Australia's elitist and privileged chosen ones.
