While some immigration is totally necessary to revitalise a society and plug the necessary skill gaps - the unprecedented type of mass immigration that has taken place in the past 50 years to Western countries (and by this I mean mainly Europe but less so Australia thank God) has had a gross negative impact.
The old lies about economic factors have been debunked. The lefty "guilt" propaganda about humanism is total garbage. Here is the House of Lords report on the subject. It should be required reading for any immigrationist:
Main conclusions: Immigration benefits the immigrants themselves, their countries of origin and big businesses who get cheaper labour. This must be offset against the strain on infrastructure and the impact on social cohesion. It creates no benefits for the resident population. Overall a negative impact on society.

So there you have it people. The House of Lords tells the truth. In turns out the politicians and lefties had no idea what they were doing.
