I agree with what you posted Horsa except one thing. You put mass immigration down to "lefties" But it is "righties" who benefit most and both the left and right in government encourage immigration.
The Greens also seem to be in favour of it even though they also say population growth needs to be limited. I don't know how they reconcile those two things, but then they are Greens lol.
One Nation was about the only party which briefly ran a policy of drastically cutting back immigration.
