You guys miss the point! Howard is too smart for the Labour party and the general public. For Aus it is a whole lot eaiser to just scoup up coal and shove it straight into the furnace. So do you really think the gov wants all the political problems that come with Uranium processing, atomic reactors, waste disposal, transport, terrorism, etc. So as far as the gov is concerned, there is no better person for the job than Ziggy here. Because when the whole country gives Ziggy and atomic power the thumbs down, the gov has its mandate to keep digging up and burning coal. "There are just two viable choices and that is the choice the Aus people made." So don't blame the gov when the sea starts lapping at your front door. Blame the Labour party for being anti-uranium.
