Yeah agree, I have been in a position to buy for around 3 years and am still relatively young. Arguably the house I would have bought back then would have appreciated in value significantly, however at the time I viewed houses as expensive and wanted to keep money to invest and start a business, as well as have the freedom to move if I pleased.
Still in the same position now, only looking to buy a commercial property as the business grows. Don't really have any regrets about not buying, don't like the idea of being up to my eyeballs in debt with no money left over to actually build some real wealth. To me it just didn't feel like the right time to buy, and still doesn't.
