Perfectly summed up. Nothing more to say really. Happens every time they con the population into voting for them. STEP 1. Appeal to the emotions and heartstrings of the general populace whilst campaigning. Make sure you highlight your own individual working cvlass roots. Make a pledge to be a beacon of shining light when it comes to Indigenous issues. Shed a few tears. Promise to unite the country or some such nonsense and end division. Pledge to usher in a new era of fairness, accountability and transparency. STEP 2. After conning the population into voting you into power, you then bask in the warm afterglow of the post election victory honeymoon period, where everyone loves you and it's smiles and hugs all round. This will last around 3- 4 months. STEP 3. First signs of trouble. Make some vague comments to media about handling the situation but in reality nothing happens and the situation is either left to fester or eventually is forgotten. You are now 6 - 8 months in to your role as Prime Minister and none of the things you promised are actually happening but it's early days yet and the lefty media still have your back. STEP 4. You are now around 15 - 18 months into your term as government. Little to nothing has advanced. Plenty of stirring speeches are being made in Parliament, but the public aren't feeling the vibe anymore. Prices are going up and up, the transparency and accountability you promised 18 months ago is being an utter farce as problems mount up and all you do is vent steam and blame the opposition. Even the lefty media are finding it difficult to find words of praise at this point. STEP 5. 2 Years +. Debt is spiraling, inflation has taken hold and each week there's some new melodrama, to which the public are given only emotional waffle with little to no substance. The Opposition are all over you. Polls are screaming at you. Infighting in the ranks. The rats begin to abandon ship, claiming they are leaving for 'personal' reasons (pfffft). *we are about here right now * STEP 6: It's all coming apart. And you are looking like a complete fool, not to mention a fraud and a charlatan. Nothing promised has become a reality. Everything is much worse than it was 4 years ago. But it's everyone else's fault. The public resent you and boo you whenever you make a public appearance. STEP 7: Bye. It was nice having you.

Agree with everything except 7. Captain Soy in Chief makes me spew every time I see his little commie face or hear his grating high pitched lishping voice.
