Great question Reg, and from what I am reading the money will be appropriated more as seed money rather than an actual award for a specific project. Lynas is flush with cash and clearly has little need for startup cash therefore IMO the award is largely symbolic and points a strengthening Australian critical materials industry of which Lynas is a clear leader...
Lynas needs little from the outside world to continue to develop the game changing developments that will dominate the industry for years to come. Amanda committed to producing quality separated rare earths at scale and never looked back. Anway it's good to see the juniors get some attention and much needed cash... JMHO...
